Formally, he studied at a school of art in East Java. He also learned a lot from a senior painter in his neighborhood. Upon graduation in 1993, he moved to Bali and started his carrier as a professional artist. Making his dream come true took serious, hard work. He stayed in Bali and established an art studio and a gallery. Space and time do not limit his imagination in creating art works. Unlimited imagination combines with experience to create unexpected, brilliant ideas. Social, cultural, and political phenomena around him become interesting subjects in paintings. He has participated in exhibitions throughout Indonesia.
